Schedule for paying university admission fees online in 2025

According to the latest announcement from the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates nationwide will begin paying the university application fee for 2025 from July 29 to 5:00 PM on August 5 via the National Public Service Portal.

Diverse Online Payment Channels

This year, candidates can pay the fee through 19 payment channels, including:

Banks: Vietcombank, VietinBank, Agribank, BIDV, SHB, VPBank, TPBank, MBBank, HDBank.

Payment intermediaries: VNPT Money, Vietnam Post, Ngan Luong, Payoo, Napas, HPay.
e-Wallets: VNPT Money, MoMo, Viettel Money.
Mobile payment channels: VNPT Mobile Money.
Candidates can make payments themselves via bank accounts or e-wallets, or ask family members or teachers to do it on their behalf.

Fee Payment Based on Local Areas

Within the general timeframe, the specific fee payment schedule may vary between provinces and cities. Details are as follows:

The Ministry of Education advises candidates not to try to access the system again immediately if there is a technical issue, but to wait about 30 minutes before retrying.

Support from Local Departments of Education
For candidates who encounter difficulties during the payment process, especially students in remote areas, local Departments of Education and Training will provide direct support to ensure no one misses out on the application opportunity.

Additional Information on the 2025 University Admission Round
Previously, candidates had nearly 13 days to register and adjust their preferences on the Ministry’s centralized system.
The application fee is 20,000 VND per preference.

After the fee payment period ends, universities will process the preferences from August 13 to August 20.
University admission cut-off scores will be announced no later than 5:00 PM on August 22.
